I used to have really pretty good skin, even when I was a teenager and in my early 20s - but when I was pregnant and now that I'm a mom, my skin is awful - blackheads, rough patches, breakouts, etc. I know it's partly hormones and partly just getting a little older (I'm in my later 20s now), but the skincare routine that used to work for me no longer works. I'm wondering what has helped all you other mamas, what your routine is and what products you recommend!
The best "routine" I've found is to use a sugar scrub every day or two (used it daily in the winter, w/ summer I've gone to every other day w/ a moisturizing soap in between). It exfoiliates & moisturizes all in one step which is great since I don't have time for extra steps. I also use shea butter as an extra moisturizer right around my eyes (since I don't put the sugar scrub there).
I don't think I'm allowed to recommend the specific products that I use since I make & sell them.
I have had the same problem (I'm also in my late 20's). I have found a lemon and poppy seed facial cleaner by Burt's Bees and I love it! The poppy seeds exfoliate my skin and it smells so great. It's a bit creamy so many nights I don't use a moisterizer.
