1) What's the advantage to using a laundry soap over a laundry detergent? Health-wise or environmentally. I can make some educated guesses, but I don't know if they're right, and I can't find much out there when I google.

2) I remember reading, while pregnant, not to use soap to clean cloth diapers. Is this true or did I make it up? If it's true, does that mean I'd have to use a detergent on the diapers and soap on everything else, if I changed to laundry soap?

3) Any recommendations for laundry soap? Spam me.

For us, detergents are a skin irritant. That's motivation enough, lol.

I use soap on cloth diapers, with no problems... it leaves them nice and soft.

Recommendations for laundry soap... I know how to make it! And that's all I'm allowed to say!! LOL
