where do you buy your baking soda? i want to get lots as i clean with it, but of course in the grocery store all you can find are the little boxes. where would i be able to find bigger packages, or possibly buy it in bulk?

costco has larger bags. Also I heard pet feed stores (not the main stream pet stores) can have them. Probably need to call around though to see.

Until we can switch to Costco, I buy it by the bag at Sam's Club.

it's in the baking isle. - my husband swore a big ol' bag of baking soda wouldn't be in the baking isle because nobody uses that much baking soda for cooking - he just doesn't understand how costco works

you can try the bulk section of a natural foods store too, they usually have it.

I get a four lb box at my grocery store, in the baking aisle. I guess people here like to bake a lot!

i found some in the bulk section of a grocery store i don't shop in often--they have a great natural foods/natural body care selection though, but i had never checked out the bulk section. i got baking soda, sea salt, organic spelt flour, organic raspberry yogurt covered pretzels, ground flax...oh i was in heaven. keep me outta there, it gets expensive!

still gonna check out costco next time we're there...thanks all!

You can also get vinegar in obscene quantities at Costco for cheap (since a lot of baking soda cleaning also pairs with vinegar). It's something like $2.97 for 2 huge jugs if I remember right.

Happily married to my dh, mama to ds1 (01/2005), ds2 (07/2007)  and dd (07/2009).
