Ok 2 questions...

Do you like their products???

Do you know where I can find their products online for a little bit cheaper than their site???...

Thanks Mamas

I currently use Burt's Bees on ds but was thinking of switching to something else and was just wondering what you all thought of California Baby...

The body/hair wash for babies has parabens which I avoid. I use Aubrey Organics on Aidan or my own home brew of Dr. Bronner's mixed with water and some oil.

It's funny you post this. Just 30 minutes ago, I used their calendula cream on my daughter's cheeks and my chapped hands and it burned like the dickens. She screamed and my hands got so irritated, I ended up having to wash it off both of us.

I think there are better, more natural products out there. I really like most everything from burts bees.

Oooh, tell me more... Bronner's baby mild is my favorite by far, but the smell isn't the greatest w/dd's body chemistry. Are you adding EO, or just a little apricot oil? How much water?

To answer the general question... I've used all mentioned but Aubrey. California Baby is over-hyped and waaaaay over-priced IMO. Burt's Bees apricot oil smells yummy, and the price isn't as bad as California Baby for their soap, but it was more drying than the Dr. Bronner's. Bronner's seems to last us a really long time and is very gentle (eczema prone babies in this house). I use Weleda baby cream on her once or twice a week (!) to keep dry skin at bay, so that lasts a while, too, even though it's pricey. We were using BB apricot oil almost daily, and she was still getting dry skin rash.

Good grief that's convoluted...

Weleda also has products that are non toxic for kids. A decent cost place to get them if you do not have a whole foods near you is www.vitacost.com . Burt's bees is also non toxic. I'm not fond of parabens either, so I was very disappointed to learn about them in california baby even if it states on the bottle they only use it a little bit.

www.aubrey-organics.com sells it directly and lists the ingredients so you can read them over before purchasing. Our local health food store sells it too. I got it cheapest at www.vitaminshoppe.com but do a google search for it and see who has the best deals now. Sometimes you can get free shipping too.
