I'm excited! I got my wool/hemp natural kitchen sponges in the mail yesterday. They work! They are supposed to last for months, and can be machine washed and dried. I've even been able to clean nasty pots and pans. Yay! I'm slowly making my entire house "green". Now, if only I could afford a hemp shower curtain

Whew, from the title of your post I was thinking you were talking about real sea sponges, and I was a little bummed, but these sound cool! Where did you get them?

I got them at www.buywahm.com They are hemp, with wool on one side for scrubbing. Both hemp and wool are naturally anti-bacterial, which was a selling point to me. I have sea sponges as well, but those are for "that time of the month" lol!

the other day I was browsing some natural home sites, one advertising hemp shower curtains on sale, only $55. I thought that was pretty cheap. pm me if you're interested and I'll research my memory.

Thanks for posting this. I have been looking to battle the stinky synthetic sponge syndrome around here. I just ordered 3 and I am sure I will love them.

Yeah, mine are great. I like that you can machine wash them. And they weren't expensive. One natural product dh can't complain about the cost Some day I'll try out the reusable mop covers I bought as well. But that requires cleaning my floors......
