I always used glycerin soap because I thought it was super gentle, but I am learning that it is made with lye. Is it bad? Are there good alternatives?

ALL soap is made with lye...unless it is a bar made with artificial surfactants. there is no lye left in a finished, properly made bar of true soap.

No lye no soap.

All soap is made with lye. The lye is neutralized during the soaping process.
