My DD is having a "spa party" for her 13th b-day party.
I have an "Organic Living" book that has a couple Facial ideas, like yogert w/ sea salt, and avacado, and mango.

Grandma is contributing a huge supply of nail polish! (eek)

I really have issues with the fumes and all, but its her b-day...
can anyone give me anymore "natural" ideas that 13yo girls would go for!?
TIA

If there is enough time the girls could (probably with your help) make their own natural lip gloss. I think I have a recipe somewhere, I am sure you could find one online too.

Honey and brown sugar for facials Yum! That's a good exfoliant. Honey, avocado, and oatmeal is good for moisturizing.

And for lip gloss, maybe shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and a dash of EO?

Apple cider vinegar hair rinse followed by deep conditioning with CO? Or olive oil? Or switch the order--maybe rinse after?

They could do an all over moisturize with olive oil. Or at least on the feet, followed by warm sock treatment After a warm soak w/ a tub o' epsom salt.

Cukes on the eyes.

This is making me want my own spa day!! Happy bday DD!

You can mix mica or other powdered colorant (you can get them at places like hobby lobby) or a fine glitter with cornstarch for a pixie dust for body. Dd loves this... though at 13 I'm not sure if they go for "pixie dust" or just body glitter... I'm sure you'll all have a great time though!

WOW!
Thanks mamas, my DD LOVES all the ideas.
*Especially* the pixie dust - Tinker Bell has made a come back, we actually just redid her room w/ tink stuff, and were making a castle cake w/ tink on it
Thanks again
