When the stain is fresh, rinse it by hand in really cold water to get as much out as you can. Then put some Bac Out on it and wash it with detergent in cold water. Never wash chocolate stains in warm water because that just sets the stain.
If you have stains that are already set in, I've had some luck soaking them overnight in Oxi-Clean and hot water.
