You can register your desire with The Alberta Post Adoption Registry by submitting an Application for Voluntary Contact.
I wish you all the best but Please recognize that he may not want to be "found" some adopted children decide they don't want or need to meet or know their birth parents.
YOu can't know if he wan't to be found until he is ready to find you! My husband found his birthparents. His mother was very easy to find, becuase she left legal releases with the original adoption agency to release her information if her child ever came looking. And then she had enough vital information (name, birthdate) for the agency to eventually help find the birthfather.
Have you provided the agency with legal release of information? That is probably the best you can do for now. If he goes back to the adoption agency, then your file will show you are ready and willing to meet.
In contrast, my husband's brother is adopted too, and has no interest whatsoever in his birth family.
