Hi everyone,

This is my first time coming to this forum, but I found it because I am going through some changes right now and am looking for others to learn from.  My most recent change/growth for me is to write a personal vision statement and think about the assumptions and values that shape it.  I am currently one class away from graduating with a masters degree and this is a suggested activity which I am actually finding quite interesting to do. A lot has happened in my life over the past year and my personal outlook on life has changed drastically.  How often do you re-evaluate your vision?   I'm interested in learning if other's have personal vision statements and what shaped that statement for you.

So far my vision statement is "to have fun in life, be a positive force in every person I com in contact with, and nurture all growing souls."

 Thanks for listening and sharing.

I'm not sure how often I change my personal vision, but it has definitely changed in the past few years, especially within the last 1-2 years. I am in the midst of a personal health crisis right now so it may be changing even more in the near future. I hadn't thought to formally write out a statement of my vision but it is something I think about often. I'm an introvert, so I spend a lot of time in my head.

I like what you've got so far, BTW. smile.gif

I am a 40 year old unschooling, belly dancing, artist-mama of one almost 8 year old. I just had brain surgery and blogging.jpg about it a bit because it's just so surreal.
