I really need to lose weight! My boyfriend left me because I’m too fat. I feel awful.
What should I do? I feel like my world is coming to an end.

If you want to lose weight, do it for yourself. Not for your ex-bf, or any future boyfriends, or anyone else. JUST YOU.

And start by loving yourself NOW, at this weight. You want to lose weight to be healthy and enjoy life more, but you love yourself ANYWAY right now. Keep telling yourself that!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, remind yourself that you don't want to be with someone who doesn't love you for you. You deserve better.

What they said!

I'm very overweight and my husband loves me very much no matter what I look like. That's what you need. Not someone telling you you're not good enough.

I agree. The weight should not have any effect on relationship, as long as you can do your "normal" activities together.

If you are losing weight do it for your self if you will do it for others you will hardly succeed. Lose it if YOU want it, not somebody else.

Forget about boyfriend. Lose weight for yourself. It's so much more comfy to be thin

Years ago I lost 50 pounds by adding up the calories of everything I ate each day an excercising a lot--jogging and going to the gym. And drinking a ton of water.

This current time, I gained weight from being stressed and dealing with that stress by eating unhealthy foods. But then I got super busy with something for a few weeks, and literally did not have the time to eat, and I was running all around the house cleaning, and I couldn't believe that I lost 10 pounds without trying.

So to maintain this new weight, I have a plan to munch on carrot sticks whenever I want to stress eat. I stared at the tv and ate carrots nonstop, without the guilt of eating chips nonstop.

Dude--you don't need to lose weight, you just need better taste in boyfriends.

I hope things get better for you; breakups are tough. Hugs!
