Lib/Left here. Have to say I was surprised by myself. I come from far-righters so I always*secretly thought* the left were the bad guys... : ...I guess I've joined the bad guys then. <chuckles> Don't tell my dad though, would rather not have a political falling out with him.

Lefty Liberatarian! That doesn't surprise me at all though! I'm quite liberal in my views of government. My own personal view for myself are somewhat conservative, but I like everyone to have the right to their views, even if they are very far from mine.

I've found (participating in "Operation Politically Homeless" booths) that more people are Libertarian or at least libertarian-leaning than the 2 major political parties would like to admit.

A couple of years ago, I started a group for moms who wanted to express alternative viewpoints/methods of child rearing/education/politics all with a focus on individual freedom and personal responsibility (pretty much libertarianism in a nutshell). The growth and comments of the group pretty much indicate the same thing: There ARE many libertarians out there (coming from the left, center and right)!

Also, there is one politician running for President that acts as Libertarian as he speaks - Congressman Ron Paul from Texas. Anyone here familiar with him?

I think that quiz is fun, but the people who make it are a libertarian organization. They try to make the "reasonable" choices end up as libertarian so that more people will think about it as an option! Every single person I know who has taken that quiz (including me) has ended up on the libertarian side.

I knew I was Libertarian before I took it, so now surprise there... although I was shocked to find I was in the exact same dot as the Dalai Lama...
