Happy Rosh Chodesh!

I'm bringing in the new month with a raging sinus infection and two little boys tag-teaming me with colds and low grade fevers of their own. I guess I'm grateful they didn't get sick at the same time because my lap is only big enough to snuggle one sick child at a time.

holy crud. Is that possible? I was trying to figure out what my jewish birthday is, and it seems to be iyar 14. but that occurs close to two weeks from my "regular" birthday. weird.

Feeling pretty good. I've got a posterior baby that I'm trying to turn, but I'm in good spirits and enjoying these last few days/weeks. I have a wonderful MW team and feel really good and in a good place about this birth.

Hi mamas!!
life has been sooooo busy here so I have'nt been around in a while.

b'shaa tova! my first baby was a posterior baby, I didn't know before labor, and while it was a very long hard labor she was born naturally, B"H no complications. I think the only real difference is the back labor, but other than that you should be fine sending you good

Checking in, quickly.
Smeis - b'shaa tova - it really does end, eventually! As for the posterior baby, I had one who turned during labour - I didn't know he was posterior until the nurse suggested hands-and-knees because of the back pain, and it was fine.
AFM - I had my baby! DD was born April 9th at home. B"H we are all doing well, and we are all enjoying her so much! Siblings are thrilled to bits and looking for any opportunity to help with her.

And smeis, echoing the b'sha'a tova. At the right time, and like a fish ...

Yup - that would be lovely.

Baby turned! My MW joked that now my homework is to squat until baby comes to keep him/her in a good position.

39w today.

serial posting because I wonder if some of you very learned mamas can help me out and point me to good Torah/Talmudic/Halachic sources to support non-vaccinating...

I have to write an exemption for NYS and religious is the only way to go. We want to send to a Jewish school so I could really use some help.

Mazal tov Npl!!! and B'sha'a Tova Sara!

I have a killer sinus situation going on - the dr. tells me that it's an allergic reaction - so I'm popping oregano oil and olive leaf like candy along with homeopathic remedies - and for good measure d-hist... It's lots of fun.

Thanks.

I am amazed at how wonderful I feel. I've already had 3 big meals since she was born, and feel like a different woman. It's a far cry from how miserable I was after DS was born.

Sounds familiar - I was on a high for about a week, although real life is now impinging and making things harder. Must say that I was a lot less tired and sore this time around than after the other 3 that were nominally normal births (with some help/intervention and 2 with epidurals). People who know me IRL keep asking whether it was traumatic to have an unexpected hb, and I'm having a hard time convincing them that it was really so much less traumatic. Sign me up for a planned hb next time!
