I just came across this a few days ago and am needing to know more. I bought a book that I am devouring - but it is very Christian in its perspective and that is really throwing me off.... Ended up being lots of prayers to Archangels for your Indigo kids and not as much practical info as I was expecting...

Based upon the description - it fits me perfectly! It describes DS too, but feels like there is a piece missing. The book mentions "Crystal" children, and how Indigo are paving the way for the Crystals....what are Crystal children? What are Indigos paving the way for exactly??

ANy info and links would me greatly appreciated!

I have found the wiki page on the subject to actually be rather helpful.

there is a lot to know. I identify as indigo among other things. This is an informative site.

I bet you can find a lot online... there are many sites that explore the topic, just search for indigo adults or crystal children....

here is crystallinks directory

My biofeedback specialist recommends reading The Children of Now, which I haven't had a chance to do yet, since she loaned it out to someone else. Guess I need to get my own copy...

Interesting, but what does it mean by raising the vibration of our planet and giving us the enlightenment to ascend?

Christian in its perspective? Really? I thought the indigo/crystal kids thing was more of a New Agey thing. Prayers to archangels sounds... not very Christian to me. Are you sure?

Smokering- I think a lot depends on an individual's background. I've attended Pagan rituals where the directions were invoked using the names of Archangels...and people left. The organizers didn't see a problem, but others felt that just using the term "archangel" made the ritual "too Christian". For them, the terminology of angel/archangel was permanently meshed with Christianity and with their personal experiences with that religion. So while something may not look/sound/feel Christian to a member of a Christian denomination, it may look/sound/feel Christian to someone outside that faith.

I know I've put books back on the shelf as "too Christian" because of the vocabulary used in the book... the topic may be waaaaaay outside the boundaries of Christianity I learned as a child, but the vocabulary is the same and I just can't get past that.

That said... OP, discussions of Indigos and Crystals often fall into the "new age" section of book stores and authors tend to write with that audience in mind. So angels and archangels do appear in some of the books. I don't know your history, but perhaps keep in mind that the term "archangel" might as easily be replaced by the term "energy" or "spirit" or "guide" or something like that? The websites are a great source of info too so I'd certainly suggest starting there... but if you find a book that is great except for the vocabulary used, try substituting words to see if that helps change the "tone" of the book.
