), lactivist, former and wanna-be cloth diaperer and baby-wearer...
This wasn't going to be my original prayer request, but I need prayers NOW for my mom... she is on her way right now to the emergency room with a blood pressure of 220/144. She has had so many heart problems, and she just had heart surgery in January. We though she was doing better Please pray for her, and for God to be with her...I know she is scared....her name is Jan.
Thank you so much....
We're also praying right now for my friend Vickis daughter Jessica Rose if anyone would like to join us. She is 7 months old , just a beautiful happy little baby and has been diagnosed with a significant heart defect. She has an electro cardiogram on Friday and most likely will undergo heart surgery mid July/early August.
if you all could keep Jessica Rose in your prayers we'd all be grateful
I won't say much, but my MDC prayer list is getting long.
I'll pray. I'm NAK with a toddler who climbs on my head while nursing... and I feel like my brain is much today. :
So are we allowed to discuss anything relating to our Christianity or are we allowed to link together as Christians only to discuss chit-chat?
PS- thanks stafl, I'll check out the link

Does it seem to reflect your views? I don't know. What are the expectations upon visiting a church like this? Can I wear jeans? Is there a class my toddler can attend while I am at the services? Is it a Saturday worship service?
|You are gonna have to tell me more about what it means to be a Messianic Christian|
pm me if you want the whole story lol. But basically I'm Jewish by blood and birthright and have accepted Y'shua/Jesus as the messiah. I have been baptised and I am led to follow Christ and keep Him in my heart .
Well, ALL are welcome here. I am glad to see many of you that I know, many that I'd like to know better and some that I haven't met yet.
A big ol' Welcome to each and everyone of y'all.
HM,are your parent muslim? My own parents never went to church , but a dear neighbor lady always took me. She is like my second mom. Being a christian made me different than the rest of my family. They held me to a higher standard than they had for themselves. It was so frustrating sometimes.
Thank you all so much for keeping my mom in your prayers...She is home now and she is ok. They do think she had a small stroke. I'll add her to the prayer list at the top of the forum when I get the chance.
hotmamacita, thanks...i'll pm you later
And thanks for the reminder about that sticky. I don't think a lot of people know about it. I'll provide a link for it.
Prayer Sticky at the Top of Spirituality
Only thing is you can't respond to the prayers there or encourage each other about specific prayers so let's keep them here as well.
Oh and DaryLLL, didn't you request prayers for the Red Sox or something? : (ooooh, I am a very bad girl.....I hope you still love me in the morning....or after the game, persay)

Glad to have you here with us. I think you live about 40 minutes from me. A good friend is about to move to Bellingham in the next few weeks.
