I've been tracking this thread for awhile. I haven't seen the movie, but I've been familiar with the subject from reading Abraham-Hicks. My husband, since I've known him, has talked about deliberate intent and the law of attraction. Over time, I've been changing the way I think about situations that come up in life. Last year, we went to the casino. I thought about coming into money. I thought that even if I don't win that day, I was already living an abundant life and money would come to us. We each played 20 - 30 dollars and didn't win. The next month, I went to vegas and won over $600 on my birthday. It totally paid for my trip.

Even though I'm still not rolling in the dough, I feel rich with what I already have.

Are you kidding me? If I doubted before, I don't now. You only have to ask once. Holy freaking cow. And I had NO IDEA that it was in there.
That is so amazing!! I am delighted that you manifested it!!

Sweet Dreams,

We recently went on a cruise and brought MIL. MIL and I went to the casino and I told her I was going to double my money. She gave me $20 to spend and I came back with $45!

Shoulda started w/a couple Ks huh?

First of all, I haven't seen the Secret and I've only been reading these threads for about a week. I don't know if I even believe this crap. (<--joke) But..my husband left me 2.5 months ago and my life has felt like it is coming unraveled, I've felt like I have no control over my life. I decided to give this manifesting thing a shot. And oh my god, I think it might be working.

Yesterday, I felt like I needed a sign as to whether I should file for a divorce or wait my situation out in the hopes that my husband would have a change of heart. I came home and decided to clean up a stack of old papers. At the bottom I found a fortune cookie fortune that read "You and your spouse will be happy in your life together."

This morning, our 11 year anniversary : , I started to picture a red glass heart (I collect glass hearts), the way I would feel receiving it. I said thank you in my head and felt gratitude. I was so sad when dh arrived, without the heart. A little while later my mom came over, with TWO red glass hearts for me. I guess I wasn't very specific!

Tonight, my mom and I ordered pizza (romantic Valentine's Day, eh?) and were told it would take an hour and a half. A half hour passed and I was starving. I told my mom I was going to manifest an early delivery. It came 35 minutes before it was supposed to.

I've been working on manifesting a change in my husband. I imagine his heart softening. I imagine the welcome home sign my daughter and I will make for him. I hear myself telling him that "I knew this day would come." I'm having trouble believing this though. I am trying really hard to dispel negative thoughts and concentrate on the emotions I'll feel. But can manifesting/LoA change someone else's feelings/behaviors? Like I said, I'm new at this...

I just remembered that my mom used to have me visualize green lights and parking spaces when I was little. It always worked. I guess we didn't have a name for it.

I don't think it's a good idea to manifest a change in someone else. I think you can decide what you want in a relationship and try to manifest that, but don't be specific about the person.

Also, I am sorry to hear about your husband. My ex-husband and I split-up, too- I kicked HIM out, but it was because he had a girlfriend he wouldn't break up with... It was a really hard time for me. I thought my life would never be the same, as my family was torn apart, but my life ended up better for it.

Still_Snarky,

Please remember to focus on what you love and appreciate about your husband.

You cannot change him, his thoughts, or his feelings.

But you can change yourself. And if you do that, one of two things will happen.

1. Your husband will intuitively feel the change and come back

or

2. You will become at peace whatever decision he makes

And either one would serve you far better than what is going on now, right?

Remember this, dear one. Your message said, "your husband," but didn't say "your current husband." So seek to love on him from the place you are at, and whether it's "current" or "future" husband will be revealed to you, and you will find that either way, you are at perfect peace with it.

I'm not even sure why I checked it. I guess I just had a feel it would be back, the way the page was still there with the black screen.

When she said the other one was no longer working, I figured it was worth a try. Glad I did!

I have to go to the hospital everyday because DD #2 is in the NICU. I get so frustrated because during the day it can be so hard to find a good parking spot there. Well as I was driving I envisioned my favorite spot (that is almost never open) and when I pulled up it was open!!! I was sooo excited. It seems like such a small thing but The Secret has taught me to not take small blessings like that for granted!

That is wonderful about your parking spot

And to being at the NICU every day. Good energy, visualizing healing and good health for your DD

good for you, paxton25! Hoping your little Olivia comes home soon, well and strong! My ds was born at 34 weeks and spent a week in the NICU, so we had a taste of that. Sending good energy your way.

I stopped my morning (all day) sickness using The Secret. People don't believe me b/c I was not doing well at all the last 4-5 weeks, but I decided after watching the movie that I was DONE!!! If I feel it coming on I tell myself, "Nope, I'm well and healthy. I feel great. I am enjoying a good meal". I have not been "sick" in about a week! Woohoo!

paxton25... for you and your little one. Way to go with the parking spot!

mimiharshe... that's so awesome!!

A little story that is not my own, but one I think people will find inspiring. My mother has a friend/employee that was diagnosed with cancer about a year and a half ago. She went through a treatment program that was very difficult and draining for her, and came out of it doing well. A year later (this past December) she was told that the cancer was back and had spread throughout multiple organs. She spent a couple of weeks very upset (understandably!) and considering what to do. On January 14th she called my mother and asked if she could come back to work, and jumped back into her job doing 12 hour shifts, turning down the option of reduced work load. She simply stated "I'm healthy, I can do this" and went about her life. On February 14th - one month later - she went for the results of her further tests and they declared her cancer free!! The only treatment she had was that of her own beliefs!
