This article just had me in tears. It made me feel so small in what I do. So inspired to do more. I have been to the Machlis' a few times. They are truly amazing people. It is wed. night. G-d willing this week I will try to have true kavanah in my cooking thanks to this article.

What a sweet woman.

I remember reading (a long time ago) that when you put intention into your cooking, praying and devoting the preparation of the food to your family that it conveys a specialness to the food.

I have also read that part of keeping Kosehr is devoting the most menial thing (like cooking) to G-d.
