Oh L.J.! My woo-woo sister! I you too! I'm not on the chat thread as much lately due to the "Amazing Insights" thread and the "Lemurian" thread -- where I've been joyfully obsessing! I'm surprised I haven't seen you on those threads yet!!

man! I forgot how fast these ONE threads move! Remember when Terri suggested "The ONE thread from 7:30am -- noon."

I am all kinds of "found" these days...

I have a serious question though... If I said "it takes about 1 month", would anyone know what I'm talking about?

I have to confess that I haven't read the book, but watched the movie, and learned bits and pieces over here on MDC. What stuck for me in the movie is the story of the guy who was talking about his goal, and said that "nothing happened for about a month, and then things started moving".

My Treasure Map was finished around April 5,6 (?) And a month later a few big things shifted for me. So I was curious if anyone else ever noticed that it takes about 1 month for really big things to start showing results, and that you can't give up if things don't show up the next day, but that you can expect them in about 30 days.

Whad'ya think? Am I crazy, or has anyone else noticed this?

Not crazy, for sure. I think it's cool that some major things are happening for you within a month. And, I'm excited about the idea about things happening in a month, specifically because of the words, Dating, Sex & Love" on my treasure map!

I have noticed that some things happen really quickly and other things take time. I have had enough experiences seeing the results, that I know it's all coming so I haven't focused on how long things seem to happen. I may have to pay a little more attention and see what I see.

That's so interesting. I was watching a presentation by Wayne Dyer on PBS (fan of public television, here!) and he was talking about this NASA study, where they had astronauts wear inversion goggles 24/7. When they had the goggles on, everything they saw was upside down - ceiling down, floor up. They wore them continually - in the shower, at night, all the time. And after 30 days, each of the astronauts was seeing upright again, even with the goggles on. Their brains flipped the inverted image back to "normal" - floor down, ceiling up. It took 30 days for their brain to make that adjustment in how they were perceiving the world.

They repeated the experiment, this time having the astronauts take the goggles off briefly at 15 days. It took 30 days *from that point* for their brains to correct their perception.

So, maybe not the same thing at all, but perhaps there is something about a one-month-period.

And I miss our special smilies, too. I want to go home.
I think that we get these occasional downs of hour home so we can attract new friends. That said, we've found 'em lets head home now!

I was waiting to get back but just had to share. I have been wanting a Mac for a long time. And we had decided that our 2nd computer needed to be a laptop, there just isn't enough desk space otherwise. And we had other plans for the irs check. Well, it came, other things fell through. And I'm typing on my MacBook!!!!

And speaking of that game. I've been trying to share this stuff with my 12 yr old, but he goes back and forth on his thoughs of it. So the other day we're all walking, and I say lets all think of something to manifest seeing. He didn't want to , but picked a blue street sign. My ds2 said 2 blue houses, nd I said a cat. We saw the houses immediately. The signs on the way home, and hte cat when we left again. Ds1 still wasn;t excited, but ds2 was thrilled

Kate I never noticed your location! Now I can't copy it huh? Unless of course we conspire in messing with everyone's minds - same name, same location, we could put something woo-wooey in our sig that is the same. Course, Mods would probably give us the old

Aww well....

And now I'm intrigued about the one month thing. And I got be careful because if Dyer says it, I'm apt to follow it like it's an absolute law of the Universe, man! Dr. Dyer is my guru of the moment...

I'm so confused. I went to dh's soccer game with the boys and came back and there are like 4-5 pages here and everyone is talking about stuff I can't figure out or don't understand. This thread is too long and confusing for me to come even close to following or understanding.

Please come back tri dub.......we neeeeeed you. :

I know!! When we first got Tri-dub I thought it was harder to keep up with everything being all split up but now I love it sooooooo much and I miss it!! Though this is like a fun chat

Two funny things:

Dan works in the Births, Deaths, and Marriages office and processes name changes. He just texted me that they got a name change application from someone named Ronald MacDonald!! I'd want to change it too.

I spoke to my sister and she said my mom got a Beta fish to put in a vase on this new little shelf she built. Apparently, my mom is now obsessed with this little fish and spends all day trying to make him mad so he will flare out his fins. He doesn't have a name yet though. My mom suggested John, but they haven't confirmed anything yet.

I figured I'd find some of the same posters here as in the "angry" thread (I'm the OP of "does 'The Secret' et al work?' :

I just want to say to those who participated respectfully that I really enjoyed your various insights (even the critics) and I'm bummed I didn't get to read thru all of it.

Anyway, I realize it was getting icky, so I understand why it was removed. I just hope they either re-post it elsewhere with some ground rules or WWoW comes back up soon. My mind is hungry for more!

Anywhoooo... thanks all who participated in the spirited discussion. I learned a lot and am looking forward to learning more
