I am going to start this thread because a number of you have got a bee in your bonnet about April. I get a sense that you want to fuel up the car now!

And we have to do these things in stages so let's see what we can do now so that you will be ready for Treasure Map Moon, which will begin April 5, 2008 8:54PM (PDT)

First and foremost. We are currently in the Last Quarter of our 2007 Treasure Maps. Just like a business year, we are in the last quarter, some of us will be getting results that have been slow to come all year (since last spring). Some of us will be feeling compelled to push on some ideas and goals we planted last spring and have not done one thing towards but now we're ready. Some of us will just have things appear out of nowhere that are accomplishments we wanted.

So, 2007 Treasure Map is very much up and running. It has not gone anywhere.
For those of you who have your map, please take a look at it. Dust it off. Perhaps move it from its current location. Or just look at what you wanted. Are those still priorities? I don't want you to change your mind or ideas I just am saying, take a look at it. Percolate on it. Remember part of the reason why we get the Treasure Map in the Spring is so that we have Winter to process what we wanted last year. So, it is important to stay connected to 2007's Map in order to get to 2008.

For those of you who have not made a map and this will be new, then you need to do the big purge. Go through your house, is there stuff you don't want anymore. Then give it to a friend, give it to charity. Sell it on ebay. Get it out of your life. Those of us who build Treasure Maps know something that is very important...and Einstein said it best.. "No two things can occupy the same space." What does that mean? It means if you want more good in your life, or if you want to improve upon the good you already have in your life than you need to get rid of the clutter. Get rid of the things that don't work. Get them fixed. And take a look at other stuff, how is your relationship? Does that need some help? What can you do? And what about your habits? Are they working for you? Do you need support in ending some things?

Think of this period as a Clean House period. You do this between now and April 5 and you'll be reading for a great Treasure Map.

eta: I just wanted to add that I feel bad that Oprah brings out her vision board gal every January. I know why she does it, because it is the beginning of the year but honestly if people made their boards in spring on the aries new moon they would have such big results. oh, well, vent over.

I've been wanting to do a vision collage for quite some time now... I'm so glad I found this treasure map idea! I'm already decluttering/organizing my home and life right now. Can't wait for my mother and I to get started on our maps in April!

Subbing to the thread! I did a treasure map last year and had some great successes. I've been in a decluttering mood for about a week now so I'm going to be purging between now and April!

I was happy to see this thread.

My treasure map for this year is turning out fantastically. So far, everything except maybe one thing has come to reality or is developing right now.

Oh I love this! Thank you!
I loved doing last years and I have started to declutter AGAIN! How is there more when I didn't let much in? Well I guess I am narrowing down to what I really want in my life.

I'm in! I've done treasure maps twice now. I am just now feeling the effects of what I wanted to accomplish this year. I'm hoping to declutter my brains out and get this place in order for next treasure map. Thanks Tracy!!

I can't believe how much has come to pass on my maps! This will be my 3rd year & I am SO CHARGED. DH is, too...he ran out of time last year because of work & whatnot and he figured he would finish it in time. Then my map was so incredibly right on. This time we're planning on taking one of his vacation days to make it more of a vision "session", so we don't just use our leftover energy for it. As well as making it a celebration!

Last year I drew/watercolored myself giving birth down on one knee, looking very calm & empowered... when the time came, my water broke & I dropped to one knee and felt her crowning.... I quickly remembered my TM and the calm took over, it was as it was meant to be- like I was getting some kind of "go ahead"... I pushed my babe out into my dh's hands a minute or so later... about 10 minutes before the midwife arrived. What an empowering experience! I still get good vibes & warm fuzzies when I think of it or look at that beautiful image!

I'm going to be doing more of my own imagery this year.

Off to declutter!

Subbing! I didn't make a treasure map last year and I'd really like to this year.

I'm going to be doing some major decluttering in the meantime

I am really excited this year as well. It will be my third map and for the first time I feel like I have a clearer vision of what I want in my life this time. My first two maps were good, and a LOT of positive stuff from last years' map has come to fruition, but there was a lot of empty space in places where I just didn't KNOW what I wanted.

I am spending the next few months decluttering, organizing and simplifying both my house and my mind. I've found a wonderful therapist who is helping me to clearly define goals and needs and how to achieve them both.

I feel a sense of positive energy and possibility

I'm hoping to do treasure maps with my youth group (probably not ON the correct days as we only meet on Sundays, but better than nothing!) this year as well as having a TM party with a few close friends. Last year dh said he'd do it with me and then didn't, so I'm looking forward to having a different experience this time. I may even go away for a few days to do it in a separate space. Sort of a girls' retreat

Anyways, I wanted to sub and get on the band wagon!

I'm fascinated by all the excitement of making a Treasure Map and want to do it too. So is there a link to give me more instructions and directions on what it all entails?
