I have recently started a non profit that aids orphans in the Himalayas. Instead of applying for non profit status right off the bat, I have gotten a fiscal sponsor. I am curious if anyone here knows if the bank account needs to be in both of our names? I know that they are responsible for keeping track and ensuring that we use our donations in the way that we say that we will, I am just, of course, weary of being in a finiancal situation with someone I do not know. The sponsor is a small nonprofit.
Anything else I should know in regards to this? Thanks for any info you can provide, I know some mamas on this board must have majored in this in college!
