My take on the sex was that it perfectly fit in with the tone of the book. It was their private act as a married couple.

Just watched my New Moon DVD for the first time last night. Sigh. I'm not a big Melissa Rosenberg fan. I miss terribly the amazing discussion that Bella and Edward have in the book when they're back from Italy in Bella's room. But I have to say that Pattinson has the emotionally tortured look down! In the movie after Charlie leaves her room grounding her forever and Edward asks Bella if she can forgive him and says that he hopes so because he doesn't know how to live without her - whoa good stuff.
I'm ready for Eclipse NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Mr. Slade - we want the action but keep the romance priority #1, please??
Come on June 30!!!!!!!!!

If you'd all like some laughs.....Ds(11) just showed me this NigaHiga
New Moon parody. It is very silly, but I couldn't help cracking up. The wig really looks like Jaspers!
The guy also has Edward's facial expressions down pat.

Apparently, Oprah treated her viewers to a screening of the (almost), final cut of the movie. The reviews have been extremely favorable.

I actually was just reading today about Fandango offering a triple feature. Think I read it on eclipsemovie.org.

hey all I am revved up with Eclipse fever...got my tickets yesterday for the midnight showing!

I watched Oprah and it was all right. What bothered me, and I knew it would, was how she and her person in the field portrayed the "Twilight Moms". The woman who did the interview went to visit some TMs in an effort to "try and understand" what Twilight does to them. duh. She rolled her eyes a few times and of course the audience laughed. I hate that kind of s***.

Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Dakota were great, I thought.

Has anyone else seen the clip "I kissed Bella"? My daughter and I were swooning.

can't wait til June 30!!

When I turned on the TV it was right at the part where Oprah is going on and on about how hot and sexy these kids in the movie are ( sorry but I'm old enough to be their mother) and then she was talking about how the books revved up these "twilight moms" love lives.

I promptly turned it off. She puts way too much emphasis on things being cool ( or is hot the word being used now?).

I'm probably not the best person to ask though because I really don't think the movies have been that well done.

I agree Arduinna. I told my husband I kinda didn't want to watch for fear of that discussion...how Twilight is spicing things up in the bedroom for those women. It may be true, but it makes all moms who love Twilight appear to need something extra in the sex department. SO not the case in my house I'm good with what I've got. I just *love* the books and the movies ('cause I'm easily pleased )

Oprah is old enough to be their mother, too.

It's "hawt" now.

Glad I didn't watch it. I haven't watched Oprah in soooooo long.

I AM looking forward to the movie coming out in June. I don't expect perfect ( been through HP and LOTRs...) but would like a good time. It's fun and I am also one who is pretty easily pleased.

41 ???!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!
woohoo!

Only tangentially related, has anyone seen any set pics of Pattinson from Water for Elephants? He's got shorter hair and smiling and traditionally I'm just an Edward fan, not so much Pattinson, but I think that Water for Elephants look works for him (at least for me )!

So what are everyone's plan so far for seeing it? Midnight? How many times in the theater (assuming it's pretty good)?

I'm dragging DW to see it at midnight like we did for New Moon. Then I plan on seeing it the next night with my mom. No way will DW sit through it twice in the theater. I wish I could get her to see the triple feature they are playing that night but she wouldn't sit through them all. Maybe I'll go alone for Twilight and New Moon and she can meet me there near midnight.
