My newest obsession is a really young sister duo from Sweden called First Aid Kit. Just saw them live in a small intimate venue last week and I was BLOWN AWAY.

Seriously, listen to them:

If you like female vocaled acoustic singer-songwriters, you will love them. Reminds me a bit of Neko Case.

Elvis Costello's My Aim is True (it's my favorite record of all-time, probably)
Downtown Church by Patty Griffin
Volume Two by She & Him
Simple Times by Joshua Radin
Nirvana
Lots of David Gray and Ray LaMontagne (I've got tickets to see them play together the end of August)
Rubber Soul by The Beatles
(still) Oh, Blue Christmas by A Fine Frenzy (And I don't even like Christmas music!)
The acoustic songs from Jason Mraz's We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things
Sara Bareilles' new song King of Anything (hand claps! c'mon, now)
Acid Tongue by Jenny Lewis
Demolition and Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams
Whip-Smart by Liz Phair
More Adventurous by Rilo Kiley
Trace by Son Volt
Sainthood by Tegan & Sara

Oh my goodness, thank you for sharing... they are amazing!

Right now I am loving Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mumford & Sons, The Heavy, and when I want something a little, um, heavier I like Sirenia and Alexisonfire.
