You made me look! I make half hearted attempts to resolve to not watch the trailers. My resolve is not very strong.

Sorry.

So what the heck is up with Hermione's pinstriped getup? Do you think that's from the MoM?

Yes!! I've seen it a few times!!! I had further Mommy duties, and now they're in bed. So I'm going to watch it again.

Dh said "It'll take a few more times to figure out what scene should be which"...I'm thinking I've already got a pretty good idea at exactly what I was looking at.

And yes, I think it's Hermione's post Ministry Mission outfit.

I was literally "white knuckling" it through it the first time. Jumping up and down after the third.

I CAN'T WAIT!!

Even if it's an added scene, that's actually pretty cool. I'm visualizing one of the Death Eaters stopping the train and being all "There's a new sheriff in town" to the Hogwarts kids.

Yeah, and I can't remember if it was explained in the book, though I"m sure it had to be, how the students found out about being under the D.E. control.

I didn't know it was in 3D! HOLY CRAP THAT IS GOING TO BE AWESOME! I'll only have to drive five hours to get to a 3D theater, but it's worth it. My heart is racing. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for posting the link!

I need to reread the book. I only read it once...it was an emotional read for me.

I didn't see this thread and just posted another one. My bad!

But OH MY WORD I can't wait for this to come out!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!! I got chills every time I watched the preview! I'm getting ready to reread DH now. I like to reread them a few months before the movie comes out because the events are pretty fresh in my mind but I don't remember EVERYTHING by that point so I'm not too disappointed by the differences. WHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

You don't suppose they're going to destroy the Hogwarts Express?!

Once again I'm trying hard not to get all huffy about all the changes made.

Though I imagine the movie can only improve the book's epilogue...

I think the person stopping the train must have been a Deatheater. Didn't they take over at Hogwarts?

I've been harassing my fiance for months about the trailer because he keeps up on movie news and we've been wondering about it. I stumbled upon it accidentally yesterday right around the time they released it....totally gave me chills!!
I've only read the books once so I think I'm going to have to go back and re-read before the movie. I'm a relatively new HP fan (just read the books last yr), but super excited nonetheless.

What's Hermione's fancy red dress from?

I really doubt they'll elaborate the epilogue. I mean, it is what it is. Maybe they'll show an image of a rebuilt Hogwarts, MoM etc but I doubt they'll go into much greater detail.

Still, anything would be an improvement on the Crapilogue. They'd be hard pressed to make it worse.

My first thought was that maybe it was when Luna gets taken. I know it's not a real scene in the book, but maybe they decided to show it.

I'm so excited! <3 <3 <3
Only bad thing, we can only see the first part, then we have to wait forever to see the second. I have half a mind to just wait so I can see them together. Then I come to my senses and realize I can't wait.

It wasn't in the book but I'll bet it's the Death Eater(s) who kidnapped Luna from the train. In which case, it would be a great addition.
