What song do you hate getting stuck in your head?

Last night/early morning everytime I'd get up to go the bathroom I kept singing "m-I-c-k-e-y m-o-u-s-e"....erg!

It's funny this has come up - my daughter has been stuck on some new Mickey Mouse song (I don't know where she heard it, something my husband found for her I guess). It goes something Mickey M-OHHH-U-S-E. Over and over.

I love getting certain songs stuck in my head!

Re: Your Brains is one of my favorites. My 3 y/o sings along with me. "All we wanna do is EAT YOUR BRAINS! We're not unreasonable. I mean, no one's gonna eat your eyes!"

I also like getting Fett's Vette stuck in my head. "My backpack's got jets, Well I'm Boba the Fett, I bounty hunt for Jabba Hutt to finance my 'Vette!" wicky wicky woo

I also tend to get Que Sera Sera by Pink Martini (slower, creepier version) stuck in my head.

It seems like whenever I get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night I have some annoying kid song stuck in my head -- I have no idea why!

The other night it was, "Happy ... noodle ... versus sad noodle ... happy NOODLE! ... versus sad sad noodle ... HAPPY! NOODLE!..."

Another night it was, "There's a party in my tummy! So yummy, so yummy yummy..."

Ugggggghhhhhhh.

This happens to me all the time, last night it was "I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves..." courtesy of my DS. Today it is a song from The musical episode of Buffy the Vampire slayer; "I have a theory..."

"That's Amore" (When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore!) by Dean Martin is my "house music."

I had it stuck in my head for an entire cattle drive (a week) - on loop. Nothing else playing. No radio access, so no way to clear it out of my mind while cooking and washing dishes, setting up and taking down camps. Ironically, I don't know all the words, so it's mostly the first verse and chorus, over and over.

Other songs get stuck in my head for brief amounts of time, but the usual song is "That's Amore," and it pops into my head at least once a week when I'm doing something mindless. This has been happening for about fifteen years.

Ironically, I never cared one way or the other for the song - and even now, it's not that I dislike it ....It's just my default song I guess. I honestly have no idea why!

Not all who wander are lost.

Lately, it's mostly Andrew Allen's "I Wanna be your Christmas". DS1 has sung it so much that dd1 and ds2 sing it, too...and they've got it stuck in my head.

Oh - and Journey's "Don't Stop Believing".

This week's earworm , as my friend calls it, has been "Delta Dawn" by Helen Reddy. Used to listen to my mom's record when I was little and then heard it on an easy-listening radio station this week. Cannot make it go away.

"Hey, mama!" to the fried dough lovin', monkey-boy.joy.gifI'm back and ready to chat!

The past few days I've had The Heat is On in my head because ... well, it's cold ... and it is.

I had Fett's Vette (thanks ) stuck in my head for half the day today and the other half I was singing "Any dolt with half a brain/Can see that humankind has gone insane/To the point where I don't know/If I'll upset the status quo/If I throw poison in the water main" which was great 'cause it got DP was singing "everyone's a hero in their own way!"

No nothing like that here. My husband put one on last year for the theatre company he worked for so I know the details.

I watched Glee and then was inspired to finally watch the movie. I downloaded the soundtrack and have been listening to it. Now the kids are singing the songs constantly.

Well any time I read Harry Potter (except maybe the last book where I don't think quidditch positions are mentioned) it's:
I asked Bobby Dylan
I asked the Beatles
I asked Timothy Leary
but he couldn't help me either...

I do like that song though so it's not too bad.

Usually annoying songs stuck in my head are theme songs from something DS is watching though. This summer we were in the U.S. and I had "oh-ay-oh this boat's rocking" and "there's 104 days of summer vacation..." (though I can't figure out how summer vacation can be quite that long) stuck in my head way too many times.
