DH and I saw 'Grand Torino' - that was over 2 years ago!! ACK! We usually do Red Box for a movie. It feels like forever since we've been together. I saw 'The Informant' last year with a friend of mine. I was pregnant and tired and fell asleep towards the end. How pathetic!

So, what was the last movie you saw and how long ago was it??

One happy mama to 1/06 , 3/10 , and married to my best friend

The last movie was HP and the Half Blood Prince, then next one will be HP and the Deathly Hallows. I've seen about 10 movies in theatre, half were Harry Potter. I rarely go to the theatre unless I know it's going to be worth it.

The Expendables.

Plan to rectify that soon by going to see either Unstoppable or Deathly Hallows. Well, I'm definitely going to see Deathly Hallows, not sure if I want to hire a babysitter two weeks in a row to go to a movie.

I usually would go to the drive in b/c DH's family owns it. The last movie I saw in the theater was Alice in Wonderland in 3D. I don't like 3D.

I told DH I want to see the new Harry Potter movie that's coming out. I'm kind of, well, really excited.

I think it was Eclipse. I don't completely remember though.

We don't go to the theater often. We try to take the kids every so often and we always try to hit the drive-in at least once a summer.

Last winter I took the kids to see The Christmas Carol remake with Jim Carrey. We all enjoyed it.

Toy Story 3. The whole family went.

I'll be taking ds1 (or he'll be taking me) to see Deathly Hallows, I think.

Despicable Me If you can get through the first half then it finally decides to grow up and be an actual movie. And then it's pretty good. We saw this at the $2 movie theatre near our house. They are CHEAP! Which is good for us. It's funny too because then I care a lot less if someone talks or is just noisy. No digital projectors there, they still do the old school film.

Same here LOL! DS was only a couple of weeks old when we went to HBP, but he slept until right at the end. I think I'm gonna need a babysitter for DH.

Heh. We saw this two days ago, at the movies. I actually thought it was great at the start, but had a lame ending. Go figure!

I get "True Rewards" points with my bank - you know, the kind you save up to buy George Foreman grills and things - but because we don't tend to buy very much, we don't accrue many points. We do get enough for the occasional trip to the movies, though.

I miss the days when I worked at the cinema and got in for free whenever I wanted. Much easier to take a chance on a random arthouse film if it's FREE! I saw a lot of good stuff...

Ironman. The first one. Just haven't had time. I tend to have to
Watch movies in 30 min chunks over several days.

I'm really hoping to go see Harry Potter 7.

Slum Dog Millionaire about 17-18 months ago.
LOVED it. We now actually own it.

I even have a free movie pass to go see a movie. And have had it for several months. But that would require choosing a movie and getting a baby sitter. Im too lazy for that. We like to rent movies though.

Guardians of Ga'hoole, but the last non-kids' movie was Tamara Drewe.

Mostly I go to family/kids' movies though--DS is my cinema buddy, we love going.

As long as Deathly Hallows doesn't have a legal age of 12 here we should be able to go see it and it will be the first HP in the theater for both of us. If it does have a legal age of 12 (as did HP 4 and 5) then maybe it will still be playing somewhere when go to the U.S. later in the winter.

In the theatre, it was Eclipse - the midnight show. The next one that I see will be Harry Potter 7 - the midnight show. I've come to realize that it is way easier for me to leave when everyone is asleep! Dh would just as soon watch a movie at home, so it's not worth working hard to make it happen, but I love the theatre experience.
With the kiddos we do drive-ins in the summer. They love them but they have to start so late waiting for the dark, so while I loved Despicable Me (1st feature), I only saw 5 minutes of Toy Story 3 (2nd feature). When I'm with grownups and sitting up with a large pop I'm fine at midnight, but put a sleeping toddler on me and it's game over!

We go to the movies pretty close to once a week, sometimes more and of course, sometimes a little less.

On Friday, we saw Megamind and on Saturday, we saw Due Date. We all liked both of them, but Megamind was a bit better (or my expectations a lot lower, whereas I was expecting Due Date to be uproariously funny)!

We'll probably go see Morning Glory next weekend -- I'm guessing it won't be out long and I don't want to miss it.
