We are a minimal TV family and DD occasionally watches a few select shows. We allow her to watch movies when traveling long-distance. She's seen Babe, Bee Movie, Cars, Bambi (skipping past the scary parts). We will be on a couple of very long flights later this summer and I'm trying to find a couple of new movies for her - ones that will keep her attention and that I won't totally hate. I'm having trouble finding anything decent. I don't Iike Disney princess stories, fast paced, violent or loud movies. DD is almost 4 and loves Babe and the Bee Movie, but they are no longer new to her so I don't think they'll hold her attention on a long flight. I'm looking for some recommendations.

You and she might like "Totoro". It's one of our favorites. Very beautiful animation.

These aren't all movies - some are more like episodes - but I'll share anyway:

My DD (almost 3) loves Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Grommit, Pingu, and all of the Muppet Movies (great muppet caper, muppets take manhattan, etc).

One of the great things about Shaun the Sheep (and to a lesser extent Pingu and Wallace and Grommit) is that you don't have to hear the audio to "get" the story. This is helpful on a plane, whether your child doesn't like wearing the headphones or has plugged ears and can't hear the audio so well...
