Hi!  I am considering selling my entire collection of Mothering Magazines, but need some advice.

I have all the magazines EXCEPT #'s 1, 2, and 5.

Because of this, I don't know how much to sell the entire set of what I have for.  They are in excellent condition, and I even have a binder of the last 2-3 Mothering magazines that were never published for stores.

How much do you guys think I should sell the entire set for, or should I sell them in smaller stacks?

I am not sure what to recommend, but I am in a similar situation and I have wondered what the market is for them.

I ended up FreeCycling mine.  It felt good to find a young mother who would enjoy them.

That is a great idea. I think I'm still a little attached and would not be able to give them to a stranger yet!  Maybe I'll save them until my daughter is older!

Consider giving them to your library. They will do a much better job archiving and storing them than most people are likely to do at home, and they will be most useful to a broad audience there. Of course, make sure the library really wants them first.

I bet you could sell them to someone at MDC...  Maybe 1/2 cover price each or a bundled price for all, plus shipping.

If you want to donate them, how about Planned Parenthood for their waiting room, or some other local clinic for their waiting room, WIC office waiting room, high school or college library, shelter for battered women and their children?  Around here, we have Friends of the Library, which accepts donated books and magazines that they sell to raise funds.  The downside is that if the magazines don't sell, they recycle them.  :-(
