I just saw Blake Shelton last night. I think the best was Sully Erna from Godsmack!

I don't get to see much anymore because we can't travel far. The last was Lacuna Coil-dd got us tickets for my Mother's day present - great show! She wants to see Black Veil Brides in Dec, hoping I can make that happen somehow.

Yes, though I do avoid playing some things in front of her-she's only 12...our kids get exposed to all kinds of music here because we all have different tastes. DH likes bluegrass, classic rock, some country. My Mom lives with us and loves classical and opera. Sometimes we all have a domestic battle of bands in different rooms.

Glad you got to go after all; bet that was a great show!

We are very similar. My kids listen to all different music here. DH & I have very different tastes in music...The battle for us is in the car.
My 5yr & 2yr love the Violent Femmes LOL
My 8yr is a class all his own. Maybe, he is not our kid? LOL

Well we always go to a ton of metal shows, my husband plays in a local metal band and my two teenage sons are metalheads. Some of the bands we have seen this year: Anvil, Black Dahlia Murder, D.R.I., Metal Church, Skeletonwitch, and tons of other local and lesser known bands. I would like a break from the metal (I do like it though) and go see some jazz or indie rock

OH, Metal Church, I forgot all about them! Never saw them live...was it good?

We did get to see Black Veil Brides tonight. I'm so glad we could go after all; it was a great show!

I saw The Avett Brothers this summer when they were by me. The best concert I went to was Fleetwood Mac. They were unbelievable. I unfortunately could no go the following year when Christine McVie was touring with them again.

My mom just saw the Avett Brothers and said they were fantastic. Best concert I have ever been to would be hard to choose. Loved Dropkick Murphys (husband listens to them more than me but the concert was great!) and Underworld was AMAZING. So energetic. I saw Nine Inch Nails in the 90s and that ranks way up there. As does Glitch Mob and Infected Mushroom. We've seen Mindless Self Indulgence a bunch of times. We took the kids to see Milky Chance and that was a great concert, too. Do I have to choose just one concert as a favorite? heh..

We walked out of two concerts.. one was from a guy I can't remember his name. I think he was in Soul Coughing. All the guy did was swear and we ended up walking out. We also walked out of Ke$ha. We really went to see LMFAO as the opener and they were fantastic. Ke$ha took herself way too seriously and I looked at my husband and said "I can feel my brain cells dying." and we left. lol
