If we are going only on voice alone I would have to say the lead singer for Queensrych, don't know his name, can't forget his voice. I also love Josh Groban. This is going only on voice alone.

sohj, right with you on Robbie Robertson.

DaryLLL, John, yeah, of course. But Paul who? (Only kidding ... :LOL)

Dave Matthews' voice is incredible. Of course, he showed up in the world's music consciousness after I had totally stopped buying music (which was a decade ago ... right around the time Jerry died), so I have none of his albums, have heard him only in passing ... and also the guy from Hootie & the Blowfish, whose name I have no clue about.

And while I'm not partial to women, love love love Margo Timmins' voice (Cowboy Junkies) ... and Rickie Lee Jones, as an old boyfriend put it about her, is "Joni Mitchell gone bad" ... (that "bad" is meaning naughty, in case you didn't get it) ...

I'd "do" the the guy who does the voice of Sinbad, in Walt Disney's "Sinbad and the Seven Seas", based on his voice alone.

Thom Yorke from Radiohead, definitely.

John Lennon

Tim Buckley circa Blue Afternoon and Greetings from LA

Daryl Hall (guilty pleasure from back in the day)

Elvis Costello

Jarvis Cocker from Pulp

I know there's way more, but that is all I can think of at the mo'---in a low-estrogen state brought on by nursing.

I have kind of a weird choice - Dave Matthews. I know his voice is kind of different but I love it and I think he's really sexy even though he's not really good looking.

My dh thinks Stevie Nicks has the sexiest voice of any woman alive.

OMG, I was coming on to say the same thing!!! I absolutely LOVE him. I think he's the only famous person I would actually go to mush in front of. I *really* want to go see his concert next month in Norfolk (dh does too because he knows he'd be getting some, lol).
I actually have dreams about Dave Matthews. :sigh:

Really--I think DM is actually quite nice looking. He's been mentioned a few time already, hasn't he?

My DH also said Stevie Nicks!

Jim Morrison, for sure
Robert Plant
Eric Clapton
Paul

I know he's gay, but would want to do him still because of the voice-George Michael!
okay, and here is one that has been true for me since about age 5...Donny Osmond.

And kd rocks...we're going to see her sing *live* tomorrow night! I can't wait!
