My husband and I were talking about Will Smith and his latest movie coming out. My husband loves Will Smith movies but I reminded him that the worst movie I have ever seen was Will Smith's Wild, Wild West. Dh was so disappointed in that movie because he loved the series as a child.

The lynching scene in Wild, Wild West was the most excruciating, painful thing I have ever seen. I cringe just thinking about it. I am not sure I am ready to view lynching in a funny light.

final destination 2 has to be the worst for me it just went to far from being scary because of plot to being nasty becauseof the gore.

The last truly horrible movie that I couldn't sit through was "Open Range" with Kevin Costner. Apparently no one ever told him that "brevity is the soul of wit."

Just one? I can't. I'd have to make a list.

But off the top of my head:
Grease 2, State and Maine -I think Mamet's writing is great, but that Mamet/stagy directing style + his wife acting= (Go Huskies), Varsity Blues (I..don't...want...your life)

I've never seen "Wild West," but now I know never to watch it.

This is going against the grain, but I hated Chocolat. I couldn't even sit through all of it.

Hope Floats sucked so bad, I'm embarrassed to admit I saw it. (In a theater.) :

daylily, my friend and I have another name for Hope Floats. We affectionately refer to it as Sh*t Floats.

Oh good, Dragonfly, I'm not alone.

BTW, my dh is with you all on Home Fries. i don't remember it, so that's not a good sign.

-Jerry McGuire. :Puke I didn't see any chemistry at all between Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger. And that song by Bruce Springsteen is pure yuck.

-The Portrait of a Lady was a snooze fest IMO.

Mystic River was dreadful for me personally (the point of the movie I mean) but I thought the acting was decent. I like Sean Penn's acting. What else? The Ace Ventura movies were painful lol, Fern Gully 2 (and this ticked me off because Fern Gully is one of my faves of all time), Every Land Before Time after the first one was icky, Battlefield Earth. I didn't much care for Cold Mountain other than Renee's role.

The only movie I ever walked out of is...
Heat.

It has Deniro and Pacino, so it's supposed to be good. But holy cow, talk about boring -- it's like the director didn't cut ANYthing.

Unfortunately I had to wait in the lobby b/c DH didn't leave with me! :LOL

The ones that quickly come to mind are:

Leaving Las Vegas

Sleepy Hollow, which I was prepared to love.....costumes and Johnny Depp! But, alas, it was awful!

Paycheck

Almost all Disney movies, especially Hercules

The Postman

Fairy Tale

The Four Feathers- I turned it off after an hour

Battlefield Earth was so gruesomely terrible. It's the only movie I've ever heard people laughing out loud and never seen so many leaving! We were laughing too LOL.

And tragically for me, "Mists of Avalon" which as a book I adore desperately. The movie was so appalling I didn't even finish watching it sob sob.

I have seen a lot of movies that I did not like, but the one which really sticks out in my mind was one I went to the theater to see.

I was about 19 and I went to see Hocapontus ( yes, I DID spell it Hocapontus, don't give me a hard tiem about that if you know what is good for you ! ) and it was so bad that i started to CRY ! I guess I was naieve enough to ASSume that it would be a good movie along the lines of Beauty and the Beast, one of my favorite disney movies.

I was in shick through out the rest of the movie. It as awful and nothing but lies and then more lies on top of htose lies. It had a horid plot and ton of...UGH. Just thinking about it now gets me angry.

I refuse to say the title of that piece of trash correctly ever. I still want to cry when I think about it. I mean..what the HECK where they thinking , making that ? And what was I thinking, going to see it and actually paying money and standing in line for it ?

Also, I don't get Woody Allen Movies, and since he married his step daughter I am too icked out to watch them now and even try to get one.

"Scenes from a mall"

That is the absolute WORST movie ever. It's gotta be. And I love Bette
