I figure when he says he loves Christmas "because he likes to get more gifts than anyone else" it is time to intervene. For the record, dh and I only get him 1 gift...it's the grandparents that go (lovingly) nuts. :
i am also a huge fan of "white christmas" with bing crosby. bing and his friend make an old friend feel appreciated and loved.
