I'm moving away from my siblings in a couple of weeks. We are really close and I'm going to miss them like crazy. They are going to drive down to hep us move and I want to give them a special CD for each to listen to on their drives home.

So...help me out...what are your favorite sibling songs? They don't have to be about siblings per se, but just songs that could have a special meaning for sibs...like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"

You guys helped me make a kick a#* father's day CD. Help me once more?

TIA!!!

Daniel, by Elton John

Or how about "You aren't heavy, you're my brother"... what's that song?

I don't know this song, but the lyrics are interesting.

Same for this song.

That's all a quick search found. Good luck! This is so fun!

I don't know the official name of it, but...

"We are family. I got all my sisters with me." By Sisters Sledge (?) originally.

Ann-Marita. I deleted my usual signature due to, oh, wait, if I say why, that might give too much away.

Picture Book, by the Kinks?

"picture book, pictures of your mama taken by your papa a long time ago..."
It's catchy and fun. It was in a camera commercial a while back.

DIYer mama to DD 11/00 and DS 6/05- both intact, naturally!
...missing Mothering Magazine...

For some reason "The House at Pooh Corner" comes to mind.

Toad the Wet Sprocket has a song called "Brother" that is sweet. I think it is on the "So I Married An Axe Murderer" sountrack.

Also "We Are Family"

The lyrics are probably really about a relationship, but my sister and I have a song that reminds us of each other - Still The One by the Orleans. It's a great song.

Good luck with your CD!
