My DH loves "UHF" (Weird Al Yancovich) and I must admit, I enjoy it was well. :

I am a 40 year old unschooling, belly dancing, artist-mama of one almost 8 year old. I just had brain surgery and blogging.jpg about it a bit because it's just so surreal.

This is one DH's fav. movies. He showed it to Dd last year and she loved the Spatula City commercial! Her long running joke with me is that she wants to go buy a gift for me from SC!

Here are some movies I've watched way too many times:
Better Off Dead-"Fraunch toast, fraunch fries, fraunch bread," gotta love it and I LOVE John Cusack!
Heathers- Greetings and Salutations!
Strange Brew-really, really bad
Throw mama from the Train
Hollywood Shuffle
Tombstone - I don't consider that a bad movie though, Val Kimer was awesome in that movie!
12 Monkeys-the only Brad Pitt movie I like. Don't know if it counts as a bad movie but I don't know anyone else that likes it.

I have already mentioned my penchant for environmental disaster movies. In the spirit of full disclosure, I should admit I love musicals. Or movies based on musicals. Even the corny ones, like say, High School Musical. Okay there, I've said it. :

Oh, and I like High School Musical 2 as well. And, no, I don't have any children that made me watch it. I have no excuse. And, I don't think anyone will be able to argue that they are not bad movies. I realize the story line is quite trite and the acting is, well, let's just say the actors have some growing to do in their craft.

But, the songs are catchy, I love watching the choreography , and it is a sweet story in a "Beach Blanket Bingo" or "Grease" sort of nostalgic way.

There, that was cathartic. Let the tomato throwing begin. Though, please, my carpet is light-colored. Let me move to the kitchen first.

Me , 36 year old RN and future AP mom in training . I am wife to one wonderful husband and "mom" to one great rescue pup :.

Now see, I didn't think that was a "bad" movie. It's on TV all the time. Oh well, I think it's pretty obvious by my pp that I love crappy movies, so maybe I just can't see what's bad about it.

When I was 13 I had a huge crush on a guy who loved Weird Al, so I started listening to his cd's and I watched this movie. I fell in love with it! It's just soooooooo cheesy and corny, but hey, it's Weird AL. It's supposed to be "bad".

I don't think anyone mentioned it yet, but what about Mermaids? I've seen this movie so many times it's insane. I love it!

I have a bunch of Flash Gordon on dvd... and some old silent movies, like The Thief of Baghdad. My dh loves Strange Brew- he made me watch it with him the other day, and I liked it too. Oh, and I liked Clash of the Titans. : Is that even legal???

I don't come here anymore. MDC has become overgrown with ads & useless extra forums.

and one of my all time favorite movies ever - Ladyhawk with Michelle Pfeiffer, Rutger Hauer and Matthew Broderick. I love the plot but sometimes the cheesy 80's music starts to get to me when I'm watching it. Has anyone ever seen this movie??
I LOVE that Buffy movie too! My keen fashion sense! My dad loves Lady Hawk, and I like it quite a bit too!

I liked Sex Lies and Videotape with James Spader... actually... I like James Spader. THERE I said it.

Favs dh and artsy friends give me crap about:

Something to Talk About (Julia Roberts, Dennis Quaid)
Aeon Flux (actually, no crap from dh about this one)
Ella Enchanted
Parent Trap
Sabrina (both versions--Audrey Hepburn and Harrison Ford)
Now and Then (probably no one else ever saw this)
Gigi
And the popular: Cutting Edge, Shag and Bring it on!

Truly BAD, but love 'em anyway:

Stargate
Overboard (Goldie Hawn)

Great ideas on this thread!
