I'm looking for a good book for a 3.5yo about death and dying. Her 6yo cousin passed away last week. Her mom has only been able to find books regarding grandparents dying, etc. and we don't want to fuel the unease that she thinks one of her grandparents will die (if that makes sense). This little one has a lot going on - Dad's in Korea for a year, little sister got a skull fracture (very serious) the day after Dad left, cousin just get the picture.

Any recommendations?

I'd start with your local library. When we were looking for something similar we went to the library and the librarian had this tool where we were able to look up the topic and get summaries of possible fits. Unfortunately I can't remember any titles, but I do remember that at least one of the stack we brought home included someone young. Good luck!
