It was such an eye-opening, yet moving tale. It's suppoused to be a modern day "Romeo and Juliet" type tale, but it's so much more than that. It's made in the UK, and I liked that, because it sort of gives a prospective of what racism is like in other countries. The US protrays their films about racism in one way, based on the current issues that are relevant to our times, whereas in other countries of course they base it on events that occur in their countries. I thought it was a very realistic, well-acted film. Also...the actors actually look like real people, not stick-thin figures that are plucked and sucked in, or airbrushed to death.
