Saw blood on paper after bowel movement, have had anal fissures in the past but this time felt no pain. Checked front and found no blood. Still enough to freak me out though.

Thanks for starting the thread Shiloh!! Sienna forever something similar happened to me this morning!! There were 3 spots of what looked like watery blood but I couldn't tell where it came from and my CM seemed fine. Of course it was reason enough to freak me out and I've been stressing all day, Also yesterday my morning sickness was gone, the bad taste in my mouth was gone (which I've had since week 7 no matter what I do!), and then what freaked me out the most is I've been getting weird spasm like almost pains in the baby area. They are mild and I wouldn't even say they really hurt. I just notice them. Its like this sudden momentary shooting feeling. Sometimes it was every few minutes, sometimes not for an hour. That went on all day yesterday but haven't gotten it so far today. Anyone have any experience like this?

Round ligament pain maybe? I get similar type feelings.

Trying so hard not to stress buts its hard not to. Keep thinking should I see a dr or am I being overly cautious ( ive been seen before with the fissures)  but then I want to everything I can to make sure baby is safe.

Im wondering if it could be internal piles - again, no pain when having bm?

Oh its all so confusing!

I'm either 10 or 11 weeks now. I am so ready to be able to feel something or at least hear the heartbeat. I haven't even contacted my midwife to set up an appointment yet. In a way I want to be able to hear a heartbeat before I go to her. She isn't very family friendly and basically told me I had to have a 2 year space between kids. :S Well, it won't be by 2 months and I didn't even tell her about my miscarriage. She is my only legal option to have a homebirth on my side of the state though. I so loved and miss my first homebirth midwife before we moved here.

That's really bizarre. Why would she insist that you have to have a 2 year space? For what? Ours range from 14 months to (if this one lives) almost 7 years.

100%mom, I don't think your midwife saying to space your pregnancies two years apart is not "family friendly." That is sound advice to allow your body to renew itself between pregnancies. It isn't opinion; it is medical fact so she was just doing her job. With that said, I am sorry that you do not have a choice of care Providers. Confidence in your provider is so key to having a good experience.

Thanks sienna.

I did mine several weeks ago, the drink wasn't awful but I felt awful after drinking it. Maybe 15 minutes after. Surprisingly I felt similar to that after eating a gluten free bagel with veggie cream cheese. I guess it was all the carbs in the bagel?! I didn't stick to eggs/meat either, that morning I had a bowl of gluten free oatmeal with strawberries and it was 110 out of 135 (cut off). It won't be too bad, just chug it and get it over with. I sat by a gal (doing an NST) and she bitched and whined and sipped, and just would not stop. Ridiculous!!! Oh well, it's not that bad and it'll be over before you know it.

I'm pretty sure I lost a small chunk of mucus plug yesterday morning. It wasn't bloody but more yellowish and pretty thick and stringy etc. LOL sweet DH asked me nicely to stop talking about it. I also had LOTS of cramping afterwards but was fine today. And our guy will be here in 6 weeks from today smile.gif. I'm so scared and so excited and still terrified something is going to go wrong greensad.gif. I love looking at our little stash of clothes though smile.gif

My midwife asked the lab to let me bring my own grape juice for the glucose test when they did it with my 1st. Lucky me, I guess, from what you are saying....

hmmmmmm.... grape juice and coke both sound 100% better than what I'm about to go through.

I wonder though if I should save all my "please let me" points for delivery though. I have A LOT of requests: baby on my chest immediately (before cleaning off), delayed cord clamping, no shots or eye ointment until I'm out of recovery and can make some decisions, no shots, immediate breastfeeding. Oh - someone sent me this: http://www.askdrsears.com/topics/breastfeeding/rightstart-techniques/breastfeeding-after-cesarean-section

Hi all smile.gif

Thebyer, can you request to eat the meal instead, it's more accurate. I refuse to drink the glucose drink, I'd go into shock, almost failed it with ds1 because it screwed me up. I ate the meal the second time and had no prob.

The two year space is health, not that it's a must. If breastfeeding, it's supposed to be a natural spacer between 15-24 months. To give time so baby gets nursing nutrition and when pregnant the body isn't getting taxed by having to do both.

Afm-doing good. Still feeling baby move a few times a day smile.gif still very tired.

The 50g drink wasn't terrible. It was like koolaid. The 100g drink (that I had to do for the three-hour test) was awful. It was the same volume of liquid, but twice as sweet, and THAT was like drinking syrup.

Thebyr I made everyone of those requests with my first. I dont see u having any issues w them doing all that. But I'll warn u, pulling the baby up to you with the cord attached is like a chainsaw against your brushburned vag area! Not nice. Beware.
