I think that i remember hearing abot a new study that was getting alot of good feedback about the correlation between food and autism.....maybe allergies or yeast issues....something like that....does anyone have any links or idea (for that matter) of what i am talking about?

The links at the top of this board will lead you to many discussions about the link between the symptoms of autism and food, yeast, bad bacteria, etc.

Normal is just a setting on your dryer.

About one third of the way down is an article on food sensitivities. My DH has this type of food sensitivity to eggs. He was pegged as a troublemaker, drug addict, lazy, underachiever in high school ... Turns out he was eating omelettes or egg mcmuffins every day before school, and would pass out cold for his first two classes almost daily. Then he would experience "brain fog" for the rest of the day.

They finally figured out that he had a severe IgG food sensitivity to eggs. To this day, if he eats eggs, he gets nasty, short tempered and finally crashes, and it will leave him foggy headed for the rest of the day and into the next.

DD was just dxed with combined type ADHD, so we are having her tested in January when we get to the States. I called the number listed in the article ... very nice people, and the lab test only costs $126 (very reasonable compared to what I have seen elsewhere).
