Had a bad, bad meltdown yesterday. I wrote about it, how it feels to be in the throes of one, so you guys can get an idea of what your kids might be dealing with.

Thanks for sharing this. I commented on your blog. It helps so much to have some kind of resource that helps *me* understand or at least accept what my daughter is going through. She seems so out of control when she's melting down. She has no ability to stop herself. I *know* she wants to but she just can't. It's so distressing for her.

Yes, ty. I constantly struggle with trying to understand how my son feels or what he is going thru. As he has gotten older his communication skills have improved but I am still left floundering with how to help him quite often. This is a big help.

You're very welcome. :) Thanks for your comment on the blog, too! 

It's incredibly distressing to have a meltdown. I can't make it stop. If I can limit the stress I'm dealing with or if I can take time to decompress, that helps me cope, but if I don't get the time to myself, I have a meltdown. So I try to limit my stress!
