I teach sunday school at a UU church, and bring ds along with me. There are kids from 3-14yrs old that attend, and the 14yr old "E" is autistic. He follows directions and participates somewhat in activities, but he rarely responds to questions and often repeats random words.
Ds really likes this kid (ds is 4, almost 5), mostly because he is a boy, and he is a "big kid", and E will play some with ds.
Anyways ds has asked me about "Why doesn't E talk?". I thought I'd get ds a book to help explain a little better and to bring to church to share with the other kids as well.
