I don't know what is going on with my daughter but it's suddenly come on out of nowhere, she started of by saying she was scared of picking her nose and didnt want to do it,well it's gotten out of hand and we are now at the point where she tells me everytime she moves her arms it's every few minutes it's been like this for 4 weeks now,as I write this she's sitting on my holding my hand tightly saying I just moved my arm I just moved my finger I just moved my leg,I don't know what to do I've tried ignoring it making a joke of it and even punishing her but that just makes me feel absolutely awful and ended in both of us in tears,I just don't know what to do my partner says she's doing it for attention but I don't think it is as I can see her pain when she's telling me she doesn't want to do it. I just don't no what to do now I want my little girl back sorry if I've posted in the wrong place or anything as I'm new to all this I just want some friendly advice thank you in advance becki x

I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time understand what your child's issue is (and I understand if she's holding you it must be hard to type).  Is she saying her arms hurt her or she's afraid to move?  Either way, I think a call to the pediatrician is necessary.

Sorry if I didn't explain properly, she physically won't move her arms and when she does she feels like she's got to tell us everything she's touched eg I just touched the table the sofa my head this goes on until I can take her mind off the subject but doesn't last long without her remembering
