I need some help
2 yr 4 month old
I've been trying to tackle the above mentioned problems for 2 years w little success. Someone mentioned seeing a metabolic specialists maybe he has problems with sugars. Tested for celiac and in a roundabout way found out hehad low igg and iga. Both have gone up. Iga now in range but igg still low even though it went up 75 pts in 6 months. Had trouble walking. Started at 13 months. Very wobbly but always progressed to where he is now. Pretty steady. Can stand still. Walks fine although he isn't the most agile 2 year old. Had one ear infection at 12 months and when his sister was born when he was 15 months they have been passing along colds. He speaks well. His sister is12 months and a late walker too. Anyway I was researching low igg and a-t came up and to be honest it scared me I'm sorry but it did and I feel for you and am in a very emotional situation. I brought it up to his ped who is very well respected and he said no way bc it's progressive and even though he was a wobbly walker he is pretty steady now. He observed him and didn't sera problem. I even pointed out his veins in his eyes but he has struggled with silent reflux and it comes up and burns his eyes and nose. Also my daughter has these veins. They were born with them on their cheeks and a blue vein on their nose. They are veiny like me. In fact my entire family has bloodshot eyes and we have huge problems with varicose veins, stretch marks, spider veins, and on me u can see veins everywhere. The ped said the fact that these veins were present on cheeks etc even in infancy is contra this diagnosis also the fact that he is becoming ateadier with age as well Anyway can u provide me with some info and your jjourney to diagnosis and what u think of my situation? He also said a lot of kids have those veis in their eyes and broken vessels on cheeks.
Jenn. Sorry I rushed this. Hard to type my iPad isn't working well
