This morning I was actually searching for how to clean the Wilenbarger Sensory Brush. This is a great program and my child seeks the brush for comfort and relief, however I was told not to submerge it into water, so how does one clean this thing?
Also, I just want to mention that the Interactive Metronome is an awesome tool for kids with CAPD/ APD, and that it really goes great with the sensory diet. Get into the right place, not only do you get both, but you will get someone whom can help with dislexic issues- by the way it is a language based disorder. UUUhhhh, some days I pray that it would just go away.
However, I love my child dearly, and am willing to keep up the fight for him, even though financially it is causing a major distraught, especially with the holidays near.
This time I am blessed, and I pray consistently, God has answered my prayers, and I am thankful. My son is going through therapy, and has a very wonderful teacher, whom supports us in his educational goals, and realizes it is not the child, but the disorder. Thankful to God for this!
I have a question for those whom may be going through the IM program, how did you obtain your at home version? My insurance is suppose to fully cover this, but for some reason I am hitting red tape. Any input would be valuable. Thank you. I hope everyone has a blessed and wonderful day, keep smiling, keep praying, keep all negativity out, keep all faith, and remember there is nothing harder than being a mom, especially one with a child whom needs special attention. Love from a sister in motherhood, a friend around the corner, and a listening ear... Melissa L.
