My DD (1 yr old) has poor tone.  Her PT recommended a product called "hip huggers" to limit how much her legs splay out, and prevent 'W sitting.'  They're like shorts with the legs sewn together in the middle.  I've also heard of accomplishing a similar thing with wrapping her legs with maybe an ACE wrap.  Has anyone had to use these before?  I'm not sure how I feel about it...

My son did the same but we didn't use anything, we just corrected his sitting and did some exercises to strengthen his core to help him.
