Oh and DD now is copying every thing I say. She actually repeated "oh damn it" today and said it over and over and over.

Oh and I love microwaved popcorn. So I guess that plus my wireless interwebz made her that way. :

Yup, its those dang microwave brownie caramel things. Warm Delights. Aliens created those too. You know, to get us to press our foreheads to the microwave window hoping that the close proximity will help with the transmission . 2 minutes with head pressed directly to microwave is the precise length of time needed for an encrypted intergalactic message to be downloaded to our brain. But it only works if your full concentration is there, hence the chocolate. They've found a weakness.

Yes, the aliens and the government... and the autistics. Don't forget that this is really all our doing. Who runs the computer programs that run the government programs? Bill Gates. Autistic. Who made the movie "E.T." fortelling an alien come to earth? Steven Speilberg. Autistic. Coincidence? I think not.

If you do exactly what your microwave tells you to do, maybe, maybe your new autistic overlords will spare your life.

As long as you promise to leave us alone.

My dh works for Microsoft. Every few months he has to travel to Redmond, WA to HQ - or as they like to call it, the Mothership.

Coincidence? Maybe not, in light of this thread.

The good news - we're safe as we're on the autistic overlords payroll!

I'm going to listen to the chocolate melting in the microwave now and await my next orders.

Probably you'll be told to eat it. Then they can get into your blood stream.

Yes. Asperger's, diagnosed as an adult.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I suspect someone already posted my thoughts on this....the fact that maybe it has more to do with the fact that enginerds and techno geeks are more likely to have wifi, and are ALSO (IMNSHO) more likely to have auties. Correlation, not causation.

Nerd DNA.

What??!!??? You didn't already know about thinkgeek.com??!! FOR SHAME!!!

I have relied on them for several years for gift giving occasions for my dh. I always know he'll like what I get him from there, and he always gets comments/compliments from coworkers. I freaking love that store, it is an enginerd's/technogeek's wife's best friend, man.

I have been working on my df's family tree and have done some reseach about life in Irealand between 1850 and 1865.

The death rate of the Irish was also helped when the English exported most of the their crops to their Indian colonies. They also evicted many many farmers who were not allowed to move in with neighbors or other family members. The evicted families who had a little money could immigate and those without faced certain death from diease at a workhouse.

A huge percentage of Irish died between 1850 and 1860. There is a rally cry on to officially label this an Irish Genocide by the hands of the English.

That's your history lesson for today kids.
