What wonderful news, congrats to the Finch fam! I hope that your anxiety becomes controlled quickly, I found that with the correct combo of meds and therapy, I was really stable within 8-10 weeks PP. Many hugs and positive thoughts and prayers.

Mama ain't so good. I had my first full blown panic attack last night, I'm staving one off right now. They're terrifying. I have been to my therapist's office this morning, dh is being wonderful. I'm waiting on a call back from my doctor re: meds. Please continue to pray. Thanks everyone.
Congrats!

Will send prayers for anxiety. Let's hope you get something that works for you and you can enjoy a healthy postpartum for all of you!

Thanks so much for all the support. Ds1 is continuing to do well. He likes to lay in bed next to me while I nurse ds2 and pet his head and say, "baby, nursies." It's very sweet. I just love them both to pieces.

I got meds last night, they're helping. I have good supports in place. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Oh, the vital stats, by the way...lol...Moose turned out to be a small buck, not nearly the moose he was projected to be.

He was a petite 8lb. 5oz., 20.5 in. long. He's a very sweet baby, nursing is finally going well. He has a head full of hair and is a cuddle bug.

So anyway, just keep us in your prayers, especially my sweet ds, whom I adore and love so much and am so very very worried about.
I remember when I was about to have my second child I was worried if I would love them the same,...after all my first was everything to me and I couldn't imagine topping what I had with him. Well I was pleasently suprised when my heart burst every bit the same for my darling second little boy! He was everything to me ever bit as much as my first one - I felt so relieved - I have learned alot about my heart and blown away by the capacity of love in parents! I pray all is well for your little famliy!

Congrats Finch!
I got really bad panic attacks both during my c-section and afterwards. I still get them, but they aren't as often.
I'm thinking of you. Glad you found some meds that help.

Reading your posts are like a time warp. Almost a year ago today, I had a scheduled c-section to deliver my third son. My second son has ASD and I was so worried about him. He was/is really a momma's boy. I was also so worried about the baby. I had a full blown panic attack on the table. I literally went inside myself and felt as though I was floating above the room. The first night was even worse. I felt myself going mad. A nurse with her calm, loving care saved me.

The first few months were rough. Baby was very colicky and I was sure that meant he had ASD. You can read my posts here at mothering. I was whacked out.

A year later, things are so much better. I can tell you that the baby has simply been the best thing for my middle son. It made him grow and mature and change is countless positive ways. I can't believe the love that comes out of him for his younger brother.

There is no way to know that the baby won't be a regressive kiddo but he say's hi to simply everyone who comes his way, blows kisses, waves bye-bye and claps his hands. He is a pointing machine.

One day at a time. When it is bad, one moment at a time.

It's gonna be great.

Raquel

Congrats Finch! Ive been thinking about you! My youngest ds has been such a wonderful person in my ds2's life(ASD). He engages him all the time and there is a very special love there. I was really scared that ds3 would fall on the spectrum and that I wouldnt be able to handle it but I finally just decided that I would love him the same anyways so no use worrying and I chose to let it go and just love every day with my 3 boys! This last line did take some time though and soul searching but its all good now.
Ive had a section before too and it was pretty scary but you will heal. Our bodies are so amazing!
Love and peace to you and your family!
