What's so great about that story is that your ds accepts your dd as normal, he doesn't see her vesicostomy as anything "weird" or "gross", but instead kind of cool but normal. Right in line with her walking, which is a "normal" thing to do. Kids can be so wonderful!!!
I know a little girl here whose brother has severe CP and is in a wheelchair. When she introduces someone to him she says "this is my brother ___, he can't walk so he has a cool wheelchair, but his brain is just like your's and mine." I just love that it's so "normal" to her!!!
