DD can't sleep unless she is in her fairly snug footie pajamas. Unfortunately she is also too hot these nights lately. Its getting hard enough to find footies in 3t and 4t, but now I need to find something cooler for her. Any ideas? I guess I could cut off the sleeves or something... but I think that would freak her out.

Wish they made footies out of soft cotton netting!

you could add feet to some cotton jamies. MAybe just stitch some coordinating no skid socks to the bottom. There is a wahm on hyenacart that makes footies from recycled woolens. Maybe a custom from her?..hth

what if you experimented with cutting up some small tights or pantyhose. maybe just cut off enough to wear as socks or anklets, but so her legs were partially uncovered. or literally cut "breathe" holes in a pair of tights. i've also wish they made swaddle blankets out of mesh or something. can you imagine, though - your baby would look like a tire tread!

Yes, the ones from Children's Place is what we are currently using. DD runs hot to start with and always has since she was born (in the swimming pool she will be the only child without blue lips - she's never had blue lips or even felt cold, ever) and combined with the unusual heat lately up here (we don't have airconditioning because you don't usually ever need it here) nights have been hard.
