I have been MIA for a while and thought I would update you ladies. I found out that at 17wks one of the twins passed away. Her surviving sister is doing well but I am being closely monitored until the end.

I'm so sorry to read your sad news. I wish you the very best in the pregnancy.

I don't know if it would be helpful or of interest to you at this point, but I seem to remember that Elizabeth Noble's twin book spoke at length about twin loss in utero. Different editions may have different content, but I think the discussion still was included in the more recent edition of the book.

I am sorry for your loss and the bittersweet feelings you must be having (grieving the loss of one babe and celebrating the growth and development of the other). Thanks for posting the update, and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and easy labor. Let us know how it goes and when your little one arrives. Good luck, mama.

Well, on Thursday I will be 40 wks... and I and Sarah are still hanging in there. I am 4cm dialated as of 2wks ago. Just waiting around now.

I must admit, I am a little nervous about what emotions may arise when I deliver Sarah and her sister Nathalie won't be being delivered. Some days I think I will be "ok" and other days I think I am just going to fall apart.

Thanks for the update... I had been wondering how you and baby Sarah were doing. Sending you good wishes for safe labor and much joy when you hold her in your arms.

I am glad you have made it to term with your little Sarah. I know you will love her with all your heart, even while you miss her sister Nathalie. I cannot imagine what flood of emotions you will feel when she is born, and I hope the happy ones will help keep the harder ones at bay.
