That I am so happy you are your twins mommy?

I just spoke to a former co worker who just had twin boys and I feel so very sad for those boys.I know how that person treats her kids and its terrible. She is unresponsive, unattatched, abusive emotionally, verbally and mentally, that I have to keep asking why ppl like that ge tto have children when there are ppl out there inthe world whod give anythign to haev a child and will treat them right.

I firmly believe as hard as it is twins need to be "AP ed " badly.because of the circumstances of coming in pairs (or more)

I just need to celebrate the fact that there are famalies out there who GET IT.

Love to you all amazing famalies.

Ha. Both my babies are screaming their heads off this morning. Not so sure my efforts matter to them. At all.

Megs mom~
YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Could yo imagine how those babies would feel if you never wnet to them when they cried? If you were NOT connected to them?

You really are making a difference. They are thankful, they just cant show it in huge ways right now,but I ll tell you, those kids of yours KNOW they can count on you. I do too.

The gal I was speaking of in the OP is so disconnected, she kept referring to her children as "it".She could not even tell me thier names without reading it off a card. Her 3 y.o. was beggong her for attention and she kept telling her to" shut the F*CK up I am talking on the phine.Do you have to be so friggin annoying?"
Her sons were 3 days old.

I coul dgo on,but I just cant stomache it.I got off the phone with her saying she should go spend time with her dd while the boys slep. She said"na,Ill go for a toke and then well see".

Mamas, give your babies a real big hug k?

Are you *serious*?! I can not even imagine EVER speaking to my child that way!!! It does break my heart when I think of how many, many children in this world are parented. The whole CIO issue is enough to honestly make me physically ill.

Oh sounds like she needs some tenderness herself and some help. I hope someone bears through her roughness and helps her regain touch with her heart.

But I too am glad that we are our twins mamas...

Yes I am serious.
I have tried EVERYTHING to talk to this woman about some gentler forms of parenting.THAT has been the ONLY reason I have stayed in contact with her.Otherwise we are polar opposites, but I remained so beacuse someone who worked withus said one day that she is befriending me because she wants to steer her life that way.It made sense and for a while I could see she was really trying. But then she became preggos and then I and we both left work and did not see eachother everyday all day long like before and life happened. Since then she has ben through a whole lot of stuff that she could have avoided IMO and it just became too hard to be in contact with her.I tried and tried and tried and so did dh with her dh but man it just was too taxing on us.We just could simply not take the way she was being to her child and we backed WAYYY off. Then we distanced ourselves and she found us,told us she wa spreggo with twins and I tried again. After that phone call with her I cried for 2 hours.I vowed I could not take the calls with her anymore and my soul could not take it.She is clear SHE DOES NOT WANT ANY ADVICE OR HELP FROM US ABOUT PARENTING.Its is sad and I pain for those kids, but she does love them and I guess that says enough for her.

Peace mamas.

I admire your desire to help her and RESPECT your putting your family first. I am praying that someone who can, gets involved in her life and helps her. That is not for you to do. I couldn't do such a thing either at this point in my life.
