So I lost my plug this morning. Eek....

When did you lose yours and when did you deliver after that?

The morning I had them

I lost "some" in the days leading up but the morning I went into labor I can only describe it as "buckets of mucous". Walking around Target was....interesting.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

With my singletons it happened the day or day before delivery. The mucus plug can regenerate itself but in your case, considering you're due in a couple weeks, I'd bet it's going to happen soon!

Hoping and praying for a great delivery for you!

I am in no way qualified to answer your question...my cupcakes have another 4 more months before their big debut, but just wanted to congratulate you bc it sounds like you're going to meet yours soon. How exciting!

I think I lost mine shortly after my water broke. At least it was some blood tinged discharge. Delivered later that day. I don't have the experience of a full term pregnancy, or of one where labor didn't start with water breaking, so I don't know what it means for you.

I would think though, that it means that things are getting ready to get moving.

I'm so excited for you and Jen. I can't wait to hear about your births.

And I wouldn't worry at all about their maybe being a few days shy of 37 weeks. You've got them to a great gestation, and I think they're going to do wonderfully whenever it is that they decide to come.

Edited to add: I did have a cat who went into labor a couple of hours after losing her mucous plug. I didn't even realize before then that cats had them.

Starting losing it at 34 weeks after a round of PTL. Several episodes of stalled labor and 3 weeks later, the boys were here.

I think it must have come out when my water came gushing out, along with a ton of fresh blood...about 4 hours before they arrived.

This is so exciting! Good luck mama

Thanks everyone!! I haven't had any other signs or anything, so I guess we shall just wait and see. My midwife joked that as soon as the clock strikes 12 on 37 weeks, my body will say "Ok, I'm done!"

I don't remember seeing anything with the twins. My water broke around midnight so maybe it was there and I was too tired and shocked to notice. I'm thinking you will probably be meeting your little ones soon though. I delivered my two one day shy of 37 weeks and they did wonderfully and we were home after 5 days. Would have been sooner but I had complications that required me to stay a bit longer. Hoping all goes smoothly for you and your little ones are big and healthy.

I lost mine at 33 weeks and I walked around like that four THREE MORE WEEKS which were the longest three weeks in human history. I was four or five centimeters dilated, too. I thought they were going to fall out.

37 weeks is awesome!! That means you'll almost certainly bring your babies home right away. I'm betting you're home with the babies in a week. Yay!

I lost mine slowly over the course of the last 4 weeks but the last two days before I went into labor there was a bunch more mucus there than usual.

So jealous. But hooray that a twin homebirth is an option where you live. Here in Florida...not so much.
